The answer is simple, you are more effective in combat against smaller groups. "Stealth only" isn't a thing. This ain't Skyrim, you ain't gonna be invisible with two daggers slaying everything. But stealth is absolutely useful. You can slowly peel off zombies and pace yourself.

It's a pretty alright all rounder build.
