Nice try, but I still won't use it. Jagex accounts were a mistake and have been a consistent vector for vulnerabilities. It's literally no more secure than using a dedicated email account for each OSRS character (actually, with alts, having an email for each character is way more security as you don't have a single point of failure) and 2FA enabled on each.

Feb 17, 2014 · It seems the majority owners of Jagex are literally only in it for the money. (That's not to trash the staff of Jagex, who I think are definitely devoted to the game. Can't hate the people doing the work because of the board of directors.) I wonder if Jagex would fold completely if IVP puled out or if they'd just dramatically downsize. 4. You can't have 2 jagex accounts logged in at once. If you did connect your accounts to jagex accounts, it is not possible to remove them. If you didn't you would be able to play one account from the jagex acc/launcher and one normally with old login. You can't add the same account to multiple jagex accounts. In conclusion, while Jagex may excel in creating captivating games, their failure to address issues of wrongful bans and provide adequate customer support tarnishes the overall experience. Until meaningful changes are made in their support system, players like myself are left feeling neglected and disillusioned.
