Vulkan is better for most things, but some games work better with OpenGL. As kraut said, it's okay to switch to check to see if the other is better. That said, unless there's some issues, vulkan is generally considered to be the recommended default. try both, see which one works best for you on a game-per-game basis. Thanks.
