Mad Men is definitely an S-Tier show. Very few television shows have the same level of writing, ambience, and acting. The most incredible thing is that they were able to maintain this for seven(!) seasons and never jumping the shark. Unheard of. But it hasn’t ruined TV for me. Not everything needs to be a masterpiece like Mad Men.
