Why wont my fourwheeler start.
I just purchased a used Prairie 360. It seems to turn over slowly but starts fine most of the time. Sometimes when it is warm it will not turn over with the starter. In that mode the pull start will not turn it over either. My first thought was fluid in the cylinder, but there is no gas smell or fuel in the oil.

Runs for a few seconds and dies. I'm at my witts end with this machine. Last summer I bought a new battery and didn't notice the new one had opposite terminals than the old one. I hooked it up wrong and blew the main fuse. After putting a new fuse in, the lights all turn on the fuel pump cycles, the bike starts and promptly dies 2 seconds later.

My guess is that the battery is actually running the system and without it, you probably won't even get spark.
