Bowfa zulrah.
I think it's easier than zulrah once you get the hang of it. I barely managed 1 kill at zulrah for the diary after about 50 deaths with the same gear as you. I'm putting it off until bowfa or at least trident. I've died 100+ times at cg but once I hit 60-70 deaths I've been only dying from disconnects or something important grbbing my attention ...
i pushed for blowpipe even after the nerf. 1365kc. still using bp at many many spots, same with toxic trident, even serp helm is useful. In other words - I feel like zulrah is still almost mandatory (yes yes, you can technically do without it if you get bofa/sang but realistically zulrah is still a way to go imo for non endgame players)If you like toa and want to go that route, the shadow is necessary. Other than that shadow is really good at god wars (minus nex), zulrah, muspah, and chambers as well with the addition of a bofa. However, the tbow is much more versatile. It's great at chambers, kril, sara, alright at nex (be better with zcb), zulrah, muspah, toa, mole, cerb ...Top and bottom for all. I usually get 2-3 minute kills and use void mage helm, book of darkness, occult, trident of the swamp as switch. If you wanted to take three items to switch, I would take a shield instead of book of darkness. Two items switch I would just switch helm and trident. Hope that helps. It is an astronomical win at TOA. For chambers it will only be noticeably worse on head phase (and big mut). Where shadow actually wins on regular mystics (and don't need a salve!) and vespula. The mage hand dps increase will compensate for the worse head phase.
Warped Sceptre for Zulrah or just Bowfa. I am just starting out my Zulrah grind, I have 20 KC so far and just got the Warped Sceptre drop. I have been doing range only so far with a Bowfa and full crystal armor. I have been using regular antipoisons (only 78 Herblore) and thralls for my kills.
5k Zulrah kc bowfa only, 6-7 kills per inve, 55 second pb, no thralls. Interested in hearing what your inve setup looks like.. I bring 3 restores, 2 brew, 1 range pot, 1 antivenom+, ring of dueling, Zulrah tele, blowpipe, 6 karambwan, 12 sharks…. So 18 fish, 2 brews, and blow pipe for healing.
