Engine Performance problem. 1992 Chevy Truck Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120, 00 miles. Plenty of turn over speed. With a test light there's voltage at both sides of the coil but NO spark. Voltage at the throttle body injectors but NO fuel sprays. Fuel pump pumps. NO spark and NO fuel, turns fine. Rotor button turns, cap and rotor clean.If the car won't start on it's own and you spray something like starting fluid in the intake and the car starts or sputters then that would usually mean a fuel issue. With a crank but no start I will test for spark and fuel. For spark a simple spark plug tester will show if you are getting good spark.SOURCE: engine cranks but won't start. If it is an electrical Fuel Pump, you will hear the pump whirring as soon as you turn the key to "ON". If you can't hear it, the fuel pump is bad. If it is a mechanical fuel pump on the engine, remove the hose that goes into the carburator. And crank the engine.

It is a 2008 Chevy Cobalt 2.2L with 199K. I've owned it since about 70K and it has always had its routine maintenance. The night before the issue, I filled up the gas, drove it to work the next day, no issues. When leaving work it cranked but will not start. The battery is good after testing (charge, CCA etc)

Find "E", then count down to 6 and it should be a gray wire. THAT WIRE needs to be HOT when the FP is supposed to be running. If it's not, check the 15A fuse and/or the relay. If it is, then check the gray wire at the FP, or as close as you can. If it's hot, then unplug the FP and see if it has continuity to ground.

That wire in the center of cap is coil wire, you can take it loose from cap, hold close to engine ground, cranking, watch for spark to jump.
