Permanent corruption caps at 50%. Unless they tweaked it in the last patch and I didn't notice, the temporarily unremovable corruption from using a teleporter stone adds. Which somewhat caught me off guard when I flitted across the map already on half-corruption and came out the other end on ~75% for several minutes. #3.
Well, Corrupted Vitality is good for the first 9 levels. The Grotesque Excrescence perk heals more than the Fierce Vitality. Other than that, not worth losing the Fast Healer perk. Corrupted Authority is amazing if you corrupt 19 levels and choose the Well-Trained perk, since it affects all combat followers.
