I noticed the whine just before I decided to replace the Axle Seal. It feels like a resistance, or binding. I hear and feel the whine while accelerating, even in a straight line. Befor I attempted the Axle Seal I thougt that the Front Diff was just getting low on gear oil.FYI ~ The Amsoil pump dispenses in 1 Oz shots. The Amsoil pump will likely only fit Amsoil Qts. I saved the cointainers for when I do my transfer case fluid (you have to use the OEM product). I put the whole 4 Oz of friction modifier in the rear diff, about 3 of the 4 Oz in the front diff (2 1/2 & 1 1/2 Qts of fluid respectively).
