Yes some boat have different transom angles and those motors match it, I run a Mudbuddy 25 longtail, it runs 19-20 mph on a 1548 Weldbilt. Frank is right about those backwater motors. My motor has features that are way better than the go devil, mainly the seals, and bushings/bearings.
