The pressure of the hammer pressing against the sear could cause the sear to move forward releasing the hammer. It seems that the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 hammer is at 0o but the sear is not.SU-16 Upgrades. Well I have done it. I removed the front sight and installed a recoil reducer ($5). I also added a on/off pad ($8) for my Sure Fire for night time use. I even upgraded the scope to a Weaver V10 ($159). I got all these items at the Gun Show yesterday.

Like you might encounter in a self defense situation. It's not intended to be a target pistol. Shooting it at 25yds is a waste of time and ammo.

I had it at the range today and on my 3rd shot from a mag the trigger did not reset.
