If this is the tube style I think it is, it is a very early style feeder for a MEC 650. Who did you buy it from?? If they had it as a feeder for a 600 jr. you should be able to return it to them because of miss labeling. MEC 600 jr. charge bar getting stuck on shot. Often, upon attempting to move the charge bar over to drop shot, it would hang up. It felt like one or more shot pellets were getting stuck right at the lip of the shot chamber, jamming between the bottom edge of the shot hopper and the top edge of the chamber. Not sure if it matters, but I have the ...Burnt Powder. Wipe the dirt off and oil the parts that move with the exception of the charge bar and the hinge where the top folds back. They do not need any lubrication. The charge bar needs to be clean and if you lube it at all, a little graphite or silicon spray will do the trick.
