Its stats are good, but its skills and affinities (resists everything except Light, Darkness and Almighty; no immunities in sight) not so much. The fact that it can't learn any unique skill really diminishes its overall utility. Any build it has can be done better ...

Izanagi tends to increase increase endurance a lot upon leveling. The hardest stat to raise up would have to be Magic, and Luck. It doesn't take too long to max him out to lv 99 I hope. I've been using Izanagi since the very start and I'm up to August 14. No, there isn't any reason to keep a persona around once their skills/resistences cease to be useful. Sometimes they get a decent passive skill if levelled up a bit, which you can pass on by fusing, but beyond that there's no reason to keep a persona when a better one becomes an option.
