The class is decent and with a cool esoteric flavor, it's "magic" that is not really magic and character building choosing 2-3 implements out of 9 might be pretty fun. But the difference in power between implements is huge, with weapon and tome being probably the strongest ones and stuff like the lantern being meh at best.
