3 posts · Joined 2016. #1 · Nov 27, 2016. I have owned my 2011 Chrysler 200 limited for about 3 months. I really love the vehicle, but I have recently encountered a problem that I am baffled. I thought I would join the forum and get fellow owners a chance to help me answer my questions. My car is equipped with the AUTO AC/Heater.At the simplest level, there are two main reasons why the heater is not working. If it’s not coming on at all, it’s usually either the blower motor or some other wiring issue. If the heat is blowing, but blowing cold, it has something to do with the coolant getting to the heater core, or the heater core itself.Just had mine done, new cooler assy OE and did the tstat and housing also cause its been leaking a little. $895.00 . I have a Car shield warranty and they covered $695 because they quote aftermarket parts. My mechanic took $150 cash and Im good. 2015 200c 3.6 fwd. Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.As best I can tell it is now working properly. The problem now lies in the heat. Across the front vents it gets progressively colder from left to right. I took it in to the shop and the shop diagnosed a plugged heater core. I know my particular 200 has a coolant gelling issue that may require replacing multiple parts of the cooling system.

That diagram in post #4 is from the 2011 JS manual. The parts picture may be better. Follow the heater hoses up to the engine.
