Cub cadet international 782.
My 782 hasn't had a deck on it for several years. Today I decided to put the deck back on to use. Worked to get the deck down out of the haymow and belt was still with it. The mule drive was never removed. Drove the tractor into the machine shed and went to lower the lift so I could get the deck on and the valve is froze up.

Bear in mind, with the setup as indicated in this diagram, you are controlling both the front and rear outlets at the same time. To have independent control, you would have to have another Spool Valve. J.
I have a CCC 782 SN 714899, as I understand it, when MTD set up Cub Cadet Corporation, production moved from Louisville, KY to Brownsville, TN. Again, from what I understand, the only change MTD/CCC made was to replace the IH Cast Iron rear end housing and helical cut gears with straight-cut gears in an aluminum housing.

On your 782 it is the part that the hydraulic cylinder rotates as it pushes and pulls on the lever that is attached to the rockshaft.

The Walbro is a fixed high speed jet style, and in my opinion, pure trash. I would be seeking a much better Carter/Kohler fully adjustable unit. It should spin with the even when you stop the tires. You might also want to check the charge relief valve to make sure it isn’t stuck partially open. The serial number would be the last six sequential of the lower number, which above is 737324. There should not be two tractors sharing the same six digit sequential number.
