I don’t think it’s the power steering pump, but it’s a similar sound, coming from that general area, but turning the wheel doesn’t have an effect on the sound - only pushing on the gas pedal.

I have never heard this noise in our Accord, Odyssey or in our POS Nissan econoboxes. To replicate this issue, I had to drive it to 45 MPH with lightly accelerating (not WOT), and the symptom will start to occur. I came multiple times today on the trip.
