Bob loved country, western, Bluegrass and Gospel music, and for nearly 70 years of his life, did a lot of singing and guitar playing at church and community events, and at the Pioneer Farmers and other threshing/old-time shows. In 2002, he helped to organize the Lake Itasca Pioneers Band and enjoyed being a part of their music shows.He retired from the Clearwater County Memorial Hospital after 28 years of service.
