Problems with wind turbines.

The intention here seems to be to make it sound as though wind turbines are not a significant risk to birds. While it's technically correct that some other threats kill more birds than wind turbines do, this argument is in some ways misleading, and in other ways irrelevant. To understand why, let's take a look at the numbers.

The Wind Fluctuates. Wind energy has a similar drawback to solar energy in that it is not constant. Although the wind is sustainable and will never run out, wind speed does change. This can cause serious problems for the efficiency of a wind ... A wind turbine turns wind energy into electricity using the aerodynamic force from the rotor blades, which work like an airplane wing or helicopter rotor blade. When wind flows across the blade, the air pressure on one side of the blade decreases. The difference in air pressure across the two sides of the blade creates both lift and drag.
