Placed the slide on the frame, but could not get the slide back far enough for the slide lock to engage. Removed the slide and rechecked the guide rod/spring for proper fit, alignment, etc. Still could not get the slide back far enough to manually engage the slide lock.

I recently purchased the 380 Easy Performance Center, after putting thousands of rounds through the standard model 380 EZ. I wanted greater accuracy thinking that the performance model would deliver. It didn’t.

There should be a number in front of the K. The model 67 was introduced in 1972 at around serial number 2K55997. The full serial number is found on the butt of the grip frame. You will have to remove the grips to see it.
