Make sure your trap isnt too tight in, so they have some space at least to freely walk. I had this problem too and my trap was littelary in the Carcha, but then i changed it easily tamed the Carcha. for real tho, me as a pve player, i would pick the carcha over the giga every time, except maybe for extinction titan where you need many unriden gigas, their hp regen is too overpowered, you finish purple drops on ext full hp, solo with a single imprinted carcha(no mutations) so for extinction drops and veins > carcha wins 100%
