Looks like this forum is where the action is. I have a question regarding ear cropping and tail docking. I love the look of cropped ears. I think for a doberman especially, this is a great touch. However, I am not a big fan of docking the tail. It seems to me that a dog wouldn't be born with a tail if it didn't serve some purpose.

I don't much like trying to get a proper Doberman cropped ear up using the mole foam. I do use it at the end of posting to correct the very tips which may be tipping in or out. Works well for that. That crop looks like a "pet" crop and the mole foam may be stiff enough to support that ear but generally it doesn't work on any of the longer crops.
So they just took the stitches off and now they taped her ears up. but I noticed there is a piece of ear skin on her left ear at the point while her right ear doesn't have it. I called the vet where I got the cropping and they said its normal and that if I take her in they are gonna recharge me for taping and posting.
