It's superior to +10 Magic when Int is higher than Str/Dex. from what i understand the buffed options are going to be higher dmg but only for the length of the buff, thats the drawback. so if youre going to faceroll your invasions then buff i guess. for invaders, proabably the way to go. In most cases, going 66 str and minimum dex with heavy infusion or 70 to 80 dex and minimum str with sharp infusion will heavily outdamage quality. E.g. Lothric Knight Sword has 413 AR on a quality build, 460 AR on a 13/80 dex build. Estoc is indeed best used on a dex build. 425 AR with 80 dex.
