I'm retired and use FEDVIP, You can get dental and vision. You get to pick your own plans and they are well priced and have good coverage. If you get a 100% or TDIU when you get out VA will cover your dental. If not, there are 2 civilian plans through metlife and delta dental (I think) that you see through VAs website.
