I guess pre-vet life/applying to vet school is the most extreme experience some people have and the waiting, rejection, and acceptance overload is hard for some people to handle. I applied this cycle with the rest, but holy bananas... some people just need to take a chill pill and friggin breathe.

Mar 18, 2008. #4. my friends that are in vet school have told me that none of the classes individually are harder or much harder than a hard undergrad course, but what makes it hard is the fact that there aren't easy classes (like easy gen eds in undergrad).Try the humane society, the zoo, aquariums, farms, hospitals. I would aim for 3000 hrs if you are able to. Also try to get in and shadow at a specialty practice for sx and whatever else you want to know more about.
