I have a strikemaster mag 2000, I have never changed my mixture and after 3 yrs. it runs great. 24:1. It runs better than most of my friends auger's as a matter of fact. One of my friends has a newer 3 hp. jiffy and he prefers to use mine when we go out, just keep the blades sharp.
