Demons are naturally evil creatures, so yes. There's also more demons in WotR than there was Fey in Kingmaker. Way more useful than they were in Kingmaker because most enemies here are evil and Paladins obviously perform well against evil. Some of their immunities/save bonuses are also real useful against big demons with scary auras.
