Oct 23, 2012 · Architecture, strusture, mep, and family. I might not be posting this in the right place, but I thought it would be OK. I started using Architecture REVIT 2012. I can use fine and get around it with no problem. I then downloaded the 2013 version which I found is all three combined. I have no teaching in training in Structure or MEP or Family.

Revit stores the basic length unit in feet, regardless of the project's specified unit of measurement. This means that almost all dimensions have significant rounding errors. Even 4 inches is 0.3333.. of a foot. So with Structural being in a different office, walls that are considered structural are modeled separate from furring and finish walls, thus no need to copy monitor.Check the Autodesk Exchange Revit page. CTC has a Family Tools package that might be able to swap parameters. The CDE is pretty much something like Buzzsaw really, its just another way of saying it in a BIM way; A collaborative environment for sharing work. so really its down to cost and scalability really.. I know you have some collaboration tools on 360, but again cost would dictate the overall use of these things.

In acad the 3d dimensonal coordinates came in fine but for some reason in revit they where flip 180 degrees and rotated about 30 degrees. Is there a fundmental difference in the coordinate system between the two? I was always under the impression they where the
