Though we have traveled extensively on our own, this was our first venture on a guided group tour. We were pleasantly surprised. Answer 1 of 2: I am planning a trip to Croatia this summer. We are staying 3 days in Dubrovnik, from there we would like to go to the island of Korcula and stay for another 3 nights there. Hard to give specific recommendations based on liking history alone as there are lots of options, Split is probably the easiest base as it is the hub for the southern Islands. Planning on visiting week of April 2O-27 to Dalmatian coast from Dubrovnik to Spit but weather says 50-60F (10-20C) and while that is nicer than NY in April, wondering if possible to swim and go to beaches. Might be a better option for you to catamaran to some as day trips. The coastal route between Dubrovnik & Split is stunning. 7. Re: Venice and Croatia - 10 days.
