We bought the travel card for the green area ( Malaga to Fuengirola) for EUR 1.50 and loaded it with Eur 5. Very convenient to use on the buses as they don't accept bank card. Each journey was 40/45 cts instead of Eur 1.70 for cash payments. Difficult to locate where the travel card can be purchased.

Oct 23, 2023 · There are a number of good tapas places on Calle Francisco Cano. El Choco at #13 and Los Corales at #36 are good for fish and seafood. Restaurante El Rio at Calle Manuel Fernández has a good tapas menu and Menú Del Día.

Fuengirola is nice when the sun shines, quieter than Benidorm. Entertainment in Fuengirola is very low key. Few places have a music licence and the police raid now and then. It's not too bad in an hotel, but even then much of the entertainment is below par. I like Fuengirola in the Summer, 3 euro on the train from the airport.
